Bare Galvalume & Colour Coated Galvalume

Galvalume sheet is a zinc aluminum alloy coated steel improvements over galvanized. Bare Galvalume alloy has the corrosion protection of aluminum & sacrifical property of zinc giving advantages of both the metals. Paint coating on top of bare galvalume gives longer life and is called colour coated galvalume.

Zinc coating on steel provides a corrosion protection by chemical reaction in this technique steel gets coated with zinc & is exposed to atmosphere.the zinc reacts with oxygen in atmosphere & forms znic oxide it further reacts with carbon-di-oxide & form zinc carbonate layer prevents the steel from being exposed to corrosion or rust.s
